Kristin Van Busum

Kristin Van Busum believes that every kid on the planet has the fundamental right to education. That’s why she founded Project Alianza, an organization that builds schools and provides educational opportunities for children living on coffee farms in Latin America. She is a TEDx speaker and coach and was selected as a finalist in the MassChallenge accelerator program for high-impact startups. Prior to founding Project Alianza, Kristin worked at RAND Corporation, a global policy think tank that provides objective research to policymakers. She attended New York University, Butler University, and was a Fullbright Scholar and recipient of a Fulbright Alumni Innovation Grant for Global Education.
